Sweet Sue Sebastian (with her Sybillinean Smile) On my first day at Sunday school a quiet girl caught my eye. Her hair was red like the autumn leaves 'gainst the bright blue autumn sky. I don't recall how I went home, but when I shuit my eyes I saw Sweet Sue Sebastian with her Sybillinean smile. Another year, thanksgiving day, the church was candle lit. And Susi wore her Sunday dress to read the holy wit. The holy words in her silver voice all missed me by a mile, caus i saw Sweet Sue Sebastian with her Sybillinean smile. Some years had passed, at summer dance, we were walking in the park. I took my courage in both hands and kissed her in the dark. Hurt and mad she slapped my face and left me there to cry, my Sweet Sue Sebastian with her Sybillinean smile. And then on my own wedding day, my bride all clad in white. I thought about the good old days 'bout school and dance and plight. But when I brushed away the veil, , you'd bet who cought my eye: 'twas Sweet Sue Sebastian with her Sybillinean smile.
